Where are your products made?                                                                                

Our Candles are hand poured in our Southern Michigan Studio. We are proud to say that all materials used in our products are MADE IN THE USA! 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Your order will ship out within 2-3 business days and from there, will take USPS 2-3 days to deliver. 
What shipping method do you use?
USPS Priority Mail. We offer $5 flat rate shipping on all orders. 

Is there sales tax?                                                                                                             

The state of Michigan is subject to 6% sales tax.

Do you offer exchanges or returns?
All sales are final. However we will replace any items that are damaged during shipping. Please keep in mind when ordering that scents and their strengths are personal and subjective. If you are not able to smell the scent before lighting/melting. DO NOT use the item and contact us immediately. Used items cannot be returned/refunded. We stand behind the quality of our candles, so if you have any concerns please email us at and we will do our best to make things right. If you email us and do not receive a response by the next business day, please feel free to contact us on social media. Lack of a same-day or next day response could mean that your email was lost in cyber space.
What if my candle is damaged during shipment?  
All of our products are carefully wrapped and packaged to protect from damage during shipping. However, should you receive a candle that is damaged, please email us within 5 calendar days of receiving your item. We ask that you keep all shipping materials until damage claim is completed. Pictures may be required to make a claim. 
What if my item does not arrive on time?
We do our best to meet these shipping estimates, but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on USPS. If your item has not arrive by the expected date, please contact us and we will contact USPS on your behalf. 

Warm / Summer Weather Shipping Information

PLEASE NOTE: Soy Wax can soften and start to melt when exposed to high heat or humidity. **This will not effect the performance of the candle.

Please avoid leaving your packages outside or in your mailbox in warm weather. Also, if possible, you may want to consider shipping to an address in which you will be able to remove your order from the mailbox immediately.

Please contact us if there are any melting issues that may require assistance. If your candles are soft upon arrival, placing them in the fridge for 15-20 minutes will help to re-solidify.

What's the best way to burn Melting Moon Candles?
Our recommended burn time is 3-4 hours. On the first burn, allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the jars before extinguishing. This will allow the candle to burn evenly and prevent "tunneling." Always follow all safety instructions included on the bottom of your candle. Never leave a candle unattended, near a draft or within reach of children and pets. Always allow candle to completely cool before handling.
Is there anything I can do to make my candle last longer?
Yes! Trimming the wick every time the candle is lit can make your candle last up to 25% longer. Be careful not to “overtrim” the wick. There should be about 1/4” of the wick sticking out above the candle. If you trim the wick too much, the flame will be so small that it might not recover and begin to consume the wax, extinguishing itself. If this happens, just light it again, let the wax pool for a few minutes and then CAREFULLY dump out the liquid wax that forms around the wick. This will make the wick stick out more and the candle should recover nicely.
What is so special about soy wax? 
We chose soy wax for many reasons; we love that it is a clean burning, safer alternative to paraffin wax. Especially for allergy and asthma sufferers! We also love that it is non-toxic and biodegradable. We could keep going, but we will leave you with our favorite thing about Soy wax; the use of soy wax supports American Farmers! 
Is your soy wax Organic/GMO free?
Only a very small percentage of soy beans grown in the US are considered organic/GMO free. And there is no reliable way to test for GMO free soy wax. So in a nutshell, the answer would be no, as there is really no such thing as Organic/GMO free Soy wax at this time.
Do you use essential oils in your candles?
While our fragrances contain essential oil properties, we do not use straight essential oils. Essential oils tend to evaporate when they are burned and therefore typically do not to work well in candles. Fragrance oils are better for use in candles, as the scent throw is stronger.  Some essential oils are even thought to be too potent when used alone, and therefore potentially dangerous if burned in candles.
Are your candles vegan? 
Yes! Our candles and fragrances are vegan. 
Do you or your suppliers test on animals?
Neither we nor our suppliers engage in animal testing of any kind. 
How strong should I expect my candle to be?
Our candles will fill small and medium sized rooms nicely. For large open areas, or rooms with high ceilings, we recommend burning 2 or more of our candles together. While our candles will fill your room with fragrance, all natural soy wax candles, may not be as strong as the paraffin candles you are used to.
